This 7-day CCR course is designed for experienced technical divers or those beginning their technical diving journey on a sidemount closed-circuit platform. It focuses on precision, control, and a thorough understanding of the KISS Sidewinder system, developing the core skills required for safe and efficient CCR operation.

Course Structure
Day 1
- Theory sessions and unit setup/configuration, including system familiarization.
Day 2β5
- Extended theory combined with confined water training and skill development in shallow open water cenotes.
- Focus on fundamental procedures, drills, and controlled practice of core skills.
Day 6-7
- Deeper open water dives with emphasis on descent and ascent procedures, including both closed-circuit and bailout ascents. All previously learned skills are repeated and integrated under more demanding conditions.

Instructor
Based in Tulum, Mexico, Skanda is one of the most experienced KISS Sidewinder instructors worldwide. A cave explorer involved in deep work within the Nohoch Nah Chich system, he has trained divers across all levels and contributed to InDEPTH magazine on sidemount CCR diving.

Equipment Requirement

Accomodation - Not included
Accommodation is available in the dive center suite.
Divers League operates a two-level house in Tulum that serves as both a dive center and accommodation, allowing divers to train, rest, and prepare equipment in the same place.
Thie accomodation includes an open living space with kitchen, a private bedroom and bathroom, air conditioning, filtered drinking water, and all essential amenities for a comfortable stay.
